IN2Access has expanded its reseller network for the ExpertSystem safety edge kits from Swiss manufacturer BBC Bircher Smart Access

Following on from FAAC (UK) which has been a long-standing reseller of the ExpertSystem self assembly kits plus the pre-manufactured safety edges, Shropshire based IN2 Access now has two further resellers that will offer ExpertSystem “kits” at their trade counters.

Specialized Security Products (SSP) in Buntingford, Hertfordshire and North Valley Forge in Nelson, Lancashire adare added to FAAC (UK) at Baskingstoke in Hampshire with IN2Access selling direct from its Owestry hub.

All resellers will now hold stock of the self-assembly safety edge kits, with customers able to collect same-day if needed. Additional partners will be added to the IN2 Access “approved” ExpertSystem Reseller Network with the aim of providing customers with a nationwide collection option.

Since its launch in 2018, BBC Bircher’s ExpertSystem self-assembly safety edges for automatic gates and doors has become a top selling range within the IN2 Access product portfolio.

“As the official UK distribution partner for BBC Bircher, we are excited about the opportunity to expand our Reseller Network of ExpertSystem,” says IN2 Access managing director Derek Foreman. “We know installers and maintenance providers can often benefit from same-day collection so we hope the expansion of our reseller network will fulfil this requirement, whilst still offering a despatch service from our Shropshire headquarters.”

The ExpertSystem safety edges kits are available in six profile sizes, each kit containing enough components to make a complete edge in either 1.5, 2, or 2.5m standard lengths. Stocking levels at each reseller location may vary.

“We have long standing relationships with our three resellers,” he said. “They all have great name recognition that many in the automatic gate industry know and trust. We are building on that relationship and may expand the range of products they offer at their location as the reseller network program grows.”

Chris Dodgson, managing director at FAAC (UK), said: “FAAC (UK) have been working with IN2 Access for some time and are happy to be an original partner in their growing ExpertSystem Reseller Network. Giving customers the option to collect kits same-day from our location is something that can benefit anyone facing emergency repairs. We look forward to continuing our relationship and growing it into the future.”

Craig McLaughlan, acquisitions manager for North Valley Forge, said that his company had used IN2 Access for various products for many years.

“They are a great company to work alongside. We are now really excited to be able to offer our customers the ExpertSystem safety edges, which are such a great product. The fact that engineers, including ours, can get back to a job on the same day is a game changer. We have already had great feedback from customers using the new range of edges.”
