FIRST Fence is making the official ‘cutting of the tape’ at its new Essex flagship depot with an open day.

The supplier is staging a five hour ‘come and see us’ on Thursday (November 4) at the 30,000 sq ft premises in Canvey Island  – its fifth depot and a major expansion on the previous Dartford facility.

Director Vinny Kotecha has hailed the new depot as ‘another significant part of our ambitious expansion plans.’

Sales teams will be on hand to show visitors around the warehousing and storage facility from 9.30am on this the official opening and there will also be representatives from Rolling Center, Toolbank and Gatemaster there with trade counter demonstrations and displays.

Event organiser Lisa Ridley said the day offered the chance to see the depot in action, view products and get to know the staff.

‘We will be able to discuss specific requirements or projects or anything else visitors want to know about,’ she said.

A prize draw will offer the chance for one person to walk away with a £600 Milwaukee drill and angle grinder. The open day will finish at 2.30pm.
