Hill and Smith Holdings PLC announce the acquisition of Parking Facilities.
Parking Facilities are one of the UK’s leading manufacturers of parking control equipment. Designing and manufacturing custom built gates and automatic barriers at their facility in Staffordshire.

Based on the outskirts of Tamworth, Parking Facilities now becones part of Barkers Fencing, ATG Access, Bristorm, Hardstaff Barriers and Technocover in Hill and Smith Holdings security division. Parking Facilities product range is seen as ‘highly complementary’ to the group’s wide range of security products ranging from bollards, to fences and covers.
The many synergies within the group’s product ranges presents great opportunity for the Hill and Smith security division to be able to provide their customers with the complete package when it comes to physical security.
Following the acquisition, Barkers senior management team will support the operation of Parking Facilities. Anthony Green Parking Facilities founder will remain in the business as managing director. Over the next 6 months he and Andrew Rowe, Barkers Fencing’s managing director, will work closely together before Green moves onto other ventures.
Both Barkers and Parking Facilities will continue to operate independently from their own factories in Stoke-on-Trent and Tamworth retrospectively.
