Barkers Takes on a New Look to Reflect Business

Barkers Fencing have unveiled a new brand identity and logo.

The company was first established in 1861 as W.H Barkers & Sons, manufacturing machinery for the mining industry. Since the 1980’s, Barkers have been manufacturing fencing at their one-stop-shop fabrication and metal treatment facility.

‘With a strong track record in securing maximum security environments and critical national infrastructure Barkers have been a trusted supplier for many years. The Barkers name remains, but the new visual identity reflects both the evolution of the company as well as its vision for the future. The new logo and branding represent their expertise in the sector as well as the friendliness and approachability of their well-established team,’ said a company spokesperson.

In addition to the fencing business, Barkers also have two other trading divisions; Barkers Finishing who provide a galvanizing and powdering coating service and Barkers Fasteners who supply and distribute fasteners and fixings.

‘These have been brought under the Barkers Brand for consistency and to show their strength as one company.

‘Barkers will continue to focus on providing a secure helping hand for customers from beginning-to-end using their wealth of experience and technical expertise.
‘The rebrand, coupled with their new website, which is set to launch in the summer, will raise the profile of the firm’s online presence and help to increase brand awareness,’ said the spokesperson.
