A day long high security summit including the hot topic of the use of drones in perimeter protection is being staged this month.
The PSSA – Perimeter Security Suppliers Association – is holding the workshop in the Midlands on January 31. The event is open to all with Association non-members having to pay a premium fee.
‘There will be a number of interesting presentations on a variety of subjects including a fascinating insight into drone aerial threat assessment and the consulting working being carried out in this field,’ said PSSA chairman Paul Jeffrey (pictured).
He took on the chairmanship last year on a voluntary basis he has been in barrier manufacturing for over 26 years.
The summit in Leamington Spa will also include a briefing from CPNI; details about opportunities for members with HS2 and the latest trends in high security products.
It will be followed by a EGM for PSSA members.
‘This will be a very informative day,’ he said.
A further summit is also expected to be staged in June.
