A boys’ prep school in South East London has added a new multi-purpose astro pitch and upgraded its nursery fencing and perimeter security.

Bickley Park School, a selective, independent preparatory day school for boys, commissioned Jacksons Fencing to supply and install security fencing around two perimeters.

The eco nursery features modern, airy classrooms filled with natural daylight; an outdoor covered decking area and an additional natural outdoor environment to promote free-flow indoor/outdoor learning. Jacksons has installed anti-trap bowtop fencing around the nursery perimeter to provide a aesthetically-pleasing visible layer of security.

Director of School Development Samik Patel said: “I was very impressed by the level of service Jacksons provided from the start of the project to completion and handover. All of the departments that I dealt with were professional and courteous at all times.”

The bowtop fencing is RoSPA approved and conforms to the play fence standards stipulated in BS EN 1176, with a wider gap between each hoop above the top rail to prevent children getting their heads, necks or limbs stuck between pales.

Jacksons fitted EuroGuard Flatform welded mesh fences and gates to protect the school’s new astro pitch.
